This is a new-build house in the Vico Road Architectural Conservation Area (ACA). The site has a southerly aspect & wonderful views of the Irish Sea. The house is cut into the slope to stay low and integrate with existing topography. The challenge was to achieve planning permission by demonstrating through design how the house would have a positive impact on the sensitive coastal landscape and protected views at this location.
